For the first time in Montreal, come out to hear Toronto-based flutist Bill McBirnie on stage with three other dynamic Latin jazz flutists. Backed up by a driving, high-powered rhythm section, the evening will be sure to transport you to the streets of Rio de Janeiro or Bahia, Brazil. Selections will include an array of Brazilian standards along with original compositions by the band. Be it one, two, or four flutes together, Bill and his Latin friends are sure to please with their melancholy bossa novas, their energetic baiaos and so much more in between. Featuring: Bill McBirnie, Billy Kerr, Rachelle Eastwood and Lisa Lorenzino (flutes) along with Jason Davis (bass), Rodrigo Simões (guitar), David Ryshpan (piano) and Aquiles Melo (percussion).
