Born from a love of David Bowie, Strange Advance started releasing music in 1982. Signed to Capitol Records USA, they put out 3 Gold Records, were nominated for both Most Promising Group and Best Group by the Junos and won over fans like Annie Lennox and Neil Peart. AMer the death of Bowie, a decision was made. If they were ever going to play live again, it was now or never! They released a new CD ‘Strange Advance 4’ and re-introduced themselves to Canada, fulfilling many fans bucket list wishes as well as meeting a whole new generation of 80’s music fans. Accompanied by visual artist Tim Hill (Skinny Puppy) Strange Advance performs the soundtrack to that magical time that was the 80’s.
